My name is Alejandro Juarez, owner and creator of Hightide Burrito Co. I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to share my vision of providing fresh Beach Mex food in a comfortable, relaxed setting.

I have been around the business of food in some form or another all of my life. From a wooden push cart to a small restaurant in Homestead, Florida, my parents made a living by cooking delicious, authentic recipes from central Mexico, where much of my family still lives. Growing up in a household that served Mexican food at the family table and to the community encouraged me to introduce recipes that I grew up loving. I’ve taken those meals, infused the vibe and flavors of Jacksonville, and produced an incredible menu that everyone will love.

I take great pride in the quality of the food that we prepare; from whole white chicken breast, and marinated skirt steak to fresh house-made salsas. Food is a central part of our collective culture, bringing people together for good times and good memories. I want to invite you to enjoy a meal that is tasty and that you will feel good about. It is rewarding and humbling to share these traditions with my friends and neighbors.
